Teen entertainer Hilary
Duff to play Germain
|
Teen queen Hilary Duff will
perform at Germain Arena on
Wednesday, Aug. 4, according
to her official Web site,
hilaryduff.com.
Germain Arena officials and
Ticketmaster have yet to
announce the concert.
Steve St. John, Germain
Arena’s general manager,
could not confirm an
upcoming appearance by Duff.
“I don’t have a signed
contract,” he said Monday.
“The deal has not been
inked.”
Duff, who launched her pop
rock career in 2003 with her
debut CD “Metamorphosis” and
had a single, “So
Yesterday,” reach No. 1,
will begin a tour in July.
According to the Web site,
the Germain Arena
performance is one of two
scheduled for Florida. The
other will be at Kissimmee’s
Silver Spurs Arena.
Duff’s career began with the
starring role on the Disney
Channel series “Lizzie
McGuire.” In 2003, she
co-starred with Frankie
Muniz in “Agent Cody Banks,”
her motion picture debut.
She has since appeared in
the films “Cheaper by the
Dozen,” “A Cinderella Story”
and “Raise Your Voice.” |
