Hilary Duff's summer
itinerary grows
|
Teen sensation Hilary Duff
has mapped a slew of new
dates that expand her summer
tour behind her sophomore
album.
New to Duff's schedule is a
July 12 kick-off in Los
Angeles, as well as a number
of July, August and
September shows. Details are
included below.
The run includes a free,
Aug. 19 performance in New
York City's Bryant Park as
part of ABC's "Good Morning
America" summer concert
series. The show is
scheduled to take place at 7
a.m., according to the
park's website.
Duff--who splits her time
between acting and
singing--will also turn up
in theaters this summer with
a lead role in the flick
"The Perfect Man." The film,
which hits screens June 17,
co-stars Heather Locklear as
Duff's single mother.
Details about the movie are
posted at Duff's website.
Duff's sophomore album, a
self-titled set, surfaced
last September. "Learning to
Fly," a DVD that features
the music video for the
"Hilary Duff" single "Fly"
and a documentary about the
making of the clip, followed
in November.
In April, Duff signed a
management deal with the
newly founded Robert Thorne
Co., according to the
Hollywood Reporter. Thorne
and partner Greg Redlitz--formerly
of Dualstar
Entertainment--previously
managed Mary-Kate and Ashley
Olsen.
