Hilary Duff will serve as
honorary starter, Haylie
Duff will serve as honorary
race official and Fantasia
Barrino will sing the
national anthem for Feb. 26
Auto Club 500.
Screen star and
multi-platinum recording
artist Hilary Duff has
starred in a number of
motion pictures, including
Cheaper by the Dozen, A
Cinderella Story, and The
Perfect Man. She has
recorded two multi-platinum
albums Metamorphosis and the
self-titled Hilary Duff and
recently completed her Still
Most Wanted concert tour
promoting her highly
successful third album Most
Wanted. A talented singer
and songwriter, Haylie Duff
is also a gifted actress who
garnered worldwide attention
with her 2004 role as Summer
in Napoleon Dynamite. This
past season she starred in a
recurring role in the
critically-acclaimed series
Seventh Heaven for The WB.
A native of High Point,
N.C., Fantasia was the
winner of Season Three's
American Idol competition.
Her debut CD Free Yourself
was released in November
2004, and the album's title
track was nominated for a
Grammy for Best Female R&B
