Hilary Duff Slams Dumb Diets
|
Hilary Duff has expressed
her disbelief at some of the
fad diets Hollywood stars
follow, and revealed that
she opts for a healthy,
balanced regime.
The 'Wake Up' singer has
slimmed down noticeably
since her days on popular
children's programme The
Lizzie McGuire Show, and
whilst she admits there is
the expectation for stars to
be skinny by whatever means
possible, she credits a
sensible attitude to food
and pilates for her
transformation.
"There is definitely
pressure. People are thin. I
do worry about what I look
like but I'm not going to
let it control my life. I do
try and eat healthily and
exercise. Not because I have
to, but because I want to do
it for me," the 18-year-old
told WENN.
She added: "I think some of
the crazy diets that people
try are really bad. There
are ones where people eat
six sultanas a day. The
Atkins is wrong too. I don't
think it's good to deprive
your body of things like
carbohydrates. Everyone
should eat things in
moderation." |
