Joel Madden Takes Hilary Duff To His Maryland 'Ghetto'

Hilary Duff is preparing to see her older boyfriend Joel Madden's humble roots when they return to his "ghetto" hometown of Waldorf, Maryland.

Duff has been dating Madden for nearly two years, and Madden believes it is about time she saw the unglamorous site of his upbringing.

Madden says, "I really want her to see where I grew up, because (it's) sort of a humble place. It's not Hollywood at all."

"I want her to see that different life and take her to the jobs I used to have - unloading trucks, making pizzas and waiting tables."
